I realise Styles is very well liked on here. And for good reason. But I think Jordan is the better wing back.

I'm surprised that we haven't seen a bit more of Williams recently. Styles and Brittain need an occasional rest IMO, and with Williams able to play either side there's an opportunity to do some rotation in the same way that we do with the front three.

Not that I'm telling Val what to do, mind. He seems to know his stuff.

Not sure I agree with that.

I think Styles has more end product and looks like he can create more but Williams is more solid defensively in my opinion. And Williams covers a lot with his pace.

Both decent in my opinion, Styles is a bit wasted as wingback, but who would you drop in midfield? Lovely problem to have though.

Thought Williams made a big difference when he came on - that run he made when he kept going and going was brilliant

If I were picking the team we'd have 3 in central midfield (Styles, Mowatt and Palmer) and two up front. And we'd be in the bottom half of the table.

Both are good in their own way. Be interesting to see how they develop, they're still so young.

In fairness, we would probably have taken that - as long as we steered clear of trouble,

I don’t think Styles has been getting forwards as much as he used to. Definitely not getting in goal scoring positions anywhere near as much. Maybe needs a rest.

You should try, he's not averse to taking onboard good advice. He responded to my text about Morris at half-time....

That's true. He even picked up on my telepathic message about Styles coming off at half-time.

Styles played well first half, covering both sides at times. Made sense to give Jordan a full half though & he took it to them more.

Dike's goal. Holy shizzle. Morris had the ball glued to his toe. That lad is one hell of a footballer. VI was right, AGAIN!

Defensively speaking I think JW might be the best of the wing backs full stop.

He’s the only true full back in the squad.

We’d lose something going forward with him on either flank long term though, but he is a nuisance closing down and has good pace.

I think that is because teams now know how we play & set up to stop the wing backs getting forward , if you noticed today neither Styles or Brittain got over the half way line in the first half, think that was down to Birmingham, not our players tiring

Styles the better wing back for me, Williams the better full back.
