    We should have a ‘teams like Barnsley’ rosette graphic. Make awards on other fan forums and twitter where there is a relevant comment every sat evening lol no words just a congratulations on .... and the rosette image lol

    I can remember visiting Dean Court when it had three sides, Just like Oxford. Chopra and big Baz Conlon were playing for us.

    There was rough patch of unused land behind one goal and I think they called it the Brighton Beach end, or something like that. They did well with their massive cash backing but it’s all over now.

    I've said it before and I'll say it again, I remember a team called Bournemouth and Boscomb afc playing in the 4th division for years. If it wasn't for Eddie Howe and a rich owner throwing money at them they'd still be there. Could end up being another Wigan.

    It did have four sides when we beat them 2-0 in 1979 on our way to promotion under Allan Clarke. However, when we won 3-1 in 2004, there was nothing behind one of their goals, other than a car park.
