I have to post again right now because my missus has just given me a bollocking for going on about the match and where we are in the table etc etc. and screaming the house down......so by way of releasing all this pent up excitement, the BBS is my "go to place".......CMAAAAAAHN..just CMAAAAAHN!!!!!!!!

To add to your excitement. Here’s a little stat.

Since Valerien took over he’s averaging just about two points a game. If he carries that on to the end of the season we will end up with more points than the 96/97 promotion year.

This season could just be about the maddest I’ve seen in nearly 50 years.

Just had a quick working out of home games behind closed doors and if I’m correct and including cup games it’s played 25
Won 15
Drawn 5
Lost 5
That’s some impressive home form i can’t help wondering if we would have done aswell if we’d had fans attending these games.

 

I don't think we would. Not saying it would have been ***** - but I genuinely doubt we'd have stayed up last season with a crowd present.

If this whole shi+show [pandemic] has taught us anything it is probably that we *must* be more patient with younger players. Anderson is the best example of that, but, lets be completely fair - some of his mistakes were utter howlers and it is difficult in the emotion of a game not to get frustrated. No-one for a second [at least I hope not] believed that it was a deliberate mistake - but look what he has grown into.

When we're back at the well I will be making a very conscious effort to give any young rough diamonds as much leeway as possible.

We'd be foolish to ignore the evidence in front of us.

I can’t remember em getting that much stick last time round. The fans in general getting behind the young uns.
If we were to be let back in now. I reckon the players would feed off the twelfth man. we would be.
The vibes from social media such as this must be a huge ( nearly wrote ma—ve) boost for em.

 

Has anybody thought that when we get fans back in,how the hell are the players going to hear big Val hollering instructions
from the byline.As it is now I can hear him in Staincross
