He didn't seem to be out for very long, I reckon he didn't know he'd lost consciousness and by the time the medical staff arrived he was conscious again so they didn't realise either.
They all do,had it on super slow mo,it hits his arm/chest, if that hit him in face he would have bust his nose
It really didn't. There was a close up slow mo replay during the coverage. It clearly hit him in the head, and it looks very much like he lost consciousness.
Jays still is after it rebounds, you can see with height of ball,it no where near his head hight, you can also see its after its rebounds as player who kicked it is closer and Woodrow and there defender flinching/ducking thinking initial strike gonna hit them, for me he sees its broke to us , 1 defender back and does the dieing swan fall I am unconscious but I can still move my arms to my face
Not one shred of evidence to back up anyone’s THOUGHTS. Quite the opposite. None given during or after the game.
A lot different to a head injury. I retract my earlier ‘no’ after seeing the footage. Play should definitely have stopped.
it was nowhere near his head, ref was right next to him, look at still how does ball hit his head its 1 foot lower
I also think what’s benefited us is that it was a Birmingham player who kicked the ball. Think if it was one of our players who kicked it it would’ve had a higher chance of been stopped
You could be right actually looking at that one. But it could easily have caught him on the chin, too. For anyone looking at it . on your keyboard will move YouTube forward a frame and , will move it back a frame.
You can't tell from that footage, mainly because of the frame rate, you could easily tell from the close up played at the time. Hit him in the head. Obviously and unequivocally.
like a t v show this,I say to you if a ball travelling at that speed hit you in the face you would have a busted nose
Whether it's hit him in the head or not, he's not unconscious he hold his own face as soon as he hits the ground.
