Wycombe W Sheff Wed W Reading D Luton W Middlesbrough L Coventry W Huddersfield D Rotherham W Preston L Norwich L Thats my prediction so 17 points takes us to 78 points. Is that enough for Play Offs?
Wycombe W Sheff Wed W Reading W Luton W Middlesbrough W Coventry W Huddersfield W Rotherham W Preston W Norwich W 91 points. Enough for automatic?
Obviously I'm not being entirely serious. But on the other hand looking at those fixtures and our current form, I don't think that remaining unbeaten until the end of the season is completely outlandish. Whether it'll be enough for automatic promotion remains to be seen.
One game at a times working nicely, let's see where it takes us. Sky's the limit for these lads under Val.
We play alot of teams fighting for there lives so its not going to be easy, were in a good position 10 games left and were in the playoffs with a +5 over 7th place. Be plenty of twists and turns I'm sure but confidence in the squad must be sky high at the minute.
The way we are playing, a straight win to the end wouldn't suprise me. But if it all went haywire now I would still think it was a successful season. With a young team that basically cost pennies we have embarrassed teams that cost in excess of 100 million. It just shows what is possible. I hope we give Ishmael a huge pay rise, he deserves it.
We’ve been at this level more than any other club, we know more than anyone how batshit crazy it can be. We’re unbeaten in 11, the team in this league that usually stops runs like that are sitting at the bottom of the league. Wednesday nights game is as tough as any, similarly when we played Birmingham, these are the worst ones for me. We dealt with them now let’s treat Wycombe with the same respect. I’m nervous already for next week, these next two games are massive for us.
Wednesday will beat us with a 30 yard screamer and a stupid amount of blind luck.. like so many times before
It's too hard to predict results in this league but looking at our remaining fixtures, we look to be in a very good position. Getting really giddy now.
I honestly don't think the next two games are going to be as easy as some think, and can definitely see Wycombe, in particular, getting at least a point off us. Our way of playing works best when we're up against the teams who like to think they play football the "right" way, so we can press the granny out of 'em. Wycombe will be just as direct as us, and it may come down to a war of attrition. Hopefully, the spirit that seems to be running through the team will see us through.
