Uve only just noticed... He's done it since last season... Watch every game he falls on his knees and flapps his arms insisting its a foul. He needs to toughen up. He's the same height as shearer. It's time he started being stronger

How many headers did shearer win.... How many does woodrow.. Same height. Shearer wore boots. Woodrow is wearing ballet shoes at the moment

I’ve noticed that. A few players do it. He’s a young lad, chilling his testies down & flashing healthy thighs to any lass or lad who might fancy a straddle. Can’t blame a fella for that..

If you’d gone to Kirk Balk in the early mid 80s, B*mmer Nixon used to make us play in just shorts, no pants to keep the bollies still. Not fun, especially at the pace I ran. Fcking perv..o_O

How did him tugging at his shorts turn into a comparison with Shearer?
Be careful what you wish for - he’s the best we’ve got by a country mile in my opinion.

His shorts are a bit flappy and get in the way of his graceful movement.
I bet DeeKay can't jiggle his shorts about with the width of his thews and lallies.

I have to put my hand up here and say I do the same thing when I'm doing my functional training class at the gym. I can't speak for Cauley but my reasoning is my thighs get hot and it's a quick and easy way to give them air and cool them down. The alternative is wearing those incredibly short shorts from the 80's and I think Cauley is camp enough without having to don those.

I’m not sure on this at all so it’s just a question. But haven’t all cauley’s goals from open play this season been headers?

Comparing Woodrow to Shearer is like comparing Odejayi to Drogba.

    Shearer was a special striker.

Whilst I get where you're coming from, I'd suggest Woodrow is and has been a special striker, for us. Not many players in my 30+ years watching have scored as regular for us. I wouldn't class Woodrow in the Odejayi category put it that way.

More like: 'Comparing Woodrow to Shearer is like comparing Bruce Dyer to Andy Cole.'

B*mmer Nixon, theres a name I haven't heard in while! I left Kirk Balk in '96 and he was still know by that name amongst pupils even then. Used to make sure everyone had a proper shower after a lesson!

Yeah I think you’re right there, however jist to make it clear I wasn’t claiming Woodrow isn’t a good player, he’s a cracking player on his day. I’ll get hammered for this but I also rated Kayode, his chance creation was unreal, great positioning etc he just couldn’t hit a cows arse with a banjo.

I’ve noticed he does that too, no idea why.

Been going to games since early/mid 2000s and he’s the best goalscorer that I’ve seen. He’s going to be a difficult one to replace that’s for sure.

Check out the Dale Jennings vs. Jim O'Brien corner challenge on YouTube. Jennings does the same thing and Jim keeps on taking the mick.
