I am I’ve been down Dearne Valley Park 3 times so far, it’s noticeable how much tidier it is.
I got involved by contacting dearne valley country park group on Facebook

They also help out with our group Wath, West Melton and Brampton litter pickers.

It’s bloody relentless at the minute

If you contact TWIGGS, they will send you everything you need to get started (Picker; Vest; and BMBC bags).

I saw drove past 3 people clearing the grass verges at Newstead on Sunday. When I drove through on Monday it was nearly as bad again.

Why people can’t have a McDonald’s and take their rubbish home is beyond me.

I wonder if there’s any way to have them prosecuted if you have them on dash cam?

    It's brilliant and all that.

It's just that before, people used to be paid to do it.

Be better if the rubbish was put in bins in the first place but it's great that so many people are prepared to give up their time to tidy their patch.
