A great win, but paid a heavy price?

Sickened to see Mowatt red-carded made even worse that he’ll miss the Wednesday game and the Easter fixtures. The one player that doesn’t really have a replacement. Be great to see someone step up to the plate in his absence. COYR

Yes a harsh decision and spoilt a comfortable win. He is our dependable captain, we will miss him.

Our opponents for the rest of the season will see how little discipline we had against the bottom of the league to be wound up so easily and will attempt the same.

Or perhaps VI will sort it. First time we’ve got involved like that so he’ll nip it in the bud

Agreed. A terrible miss. He’s just got better and better as the season has gone on. Ffs the man had COVID and missed only one match!

Whoever comes in for him is on a hiding to nothing so we need to have a bit of sympathy for that player and the Lads just need to all up there game a notch further; which they are well capable of.

If we've learned one thing under Val, it's that nobody has a guaranteed starting place, and everybody is going to get game time.
We have a fantastic bench and a squad that all buy into the way we play.
I think in times past you would be right, we have depended on 2 or 3 "stars" but in this team they are interchangeable to an extent we've never seen before
I think others in the team will take their chance

Luton, Reading and Pigs. The squad will cope, he'll have a rest for the run in.

Mowatt didn't get involved in anything it was just a daft challenge with 2 feet. Sibbock was naive but to react to the bloke just chopping his legs but he is 21 he will grow out of that. Wycombe were like a pub team.

Wycombe's whole ethos is shithousery, so I wouldn't read too much into it.

Styles to midfield for me, although I think Kane will also do a job

Kane should’ve come on before Halme. Best way to beat them at that stage was to keep hold of the ball. Halme’s control isn’t good enough for midfield and got us into the position where mowatt needed to make a challenge.

I’d put Williams LWB and Styles into the middle on Saturday

Kane and Halme to step up. Both will be fine.

It's a team now, not a group of individuals.

    They are;

Ismael: "The referee completely lost control of the game. It is never ever a red card. We will appeal it for sure."

I don't think it would be deemed 'frivolous', as it was such a borderline call, so nothing to lose.

Exactly what Val has instilled. It’s a TEAM & they support each other, whoever starts..
