I got told mowatt to sheffield United if we don't go up.... don't shoot the messenger I'm only telling you what the spirits are telling me.
I am just repeating what I got told today Hooky.Could have been the woman serving in the chippy who started it,that’s why I said I didn’t know if true or not.
Said on here a couple of weeks ago Sheff U is probably the only club that I'm worried about with Mowatt. It ticks a lot of boxes when you think about it logically - They can pay higher wages than us and will have parachute payments. - He's a local boy - a local club will appeal - They will probably need a complete rebuild of their midfield as they'll likely lose lundstram and berge and other options likely to need a refresh. - British players will now attract an even higher premium with the post Brexit transfer rules. I think foolish to think they'd not be sniffing around - he's exactly the type of player I'd be looking at if I were in their shoes. My main hope is that after getting rid of Wilder they appoint some crazy foreign manager who wants to go in a totally different direction (perhaps we should start a covert Morais in campaign), or else they go for Hecky and Alex doesn't want to take the risk of getting loaned back out to Oxford. Either that or we just give them a cheeky wave as we pass them on our way up to the premier league.
It was a United fan at work but he says many blades fans reakon its happening as a replacement for lundstrum.
I wouldn't be surprised but now Wilder has gone it may be differrnt, a new manager will have their own idea of who they want.
Hope so but as we know sometimes clubs have recruitment teams etc we see clubs sign players without managers. I don't know what crack is at bramall Lane but just thought I'd share what I heard.
That move would be purely for the money. As a career move, even with parachute money to SUFC, leaving BFC to go to Bramhall Lane is a backward step IMO. They have been well and truly put to the sword in the Prem and I honestly believe we are a better prospect provided we can keep the Val and bulk of the team together even if we miss out on promotion (which I admit in Val's case is debatable).
