So what's the matter with you?
    Sing me something new
Don't you know, the cold and wind and rain don't know
They only seem to come and go away
    Stand by me
Nobody knows the way it's gonna be
    Stand by me
Nobody knows the way it's gonna be
    Stand by me
Nobody knows the way it's gonna be
    Stand by me
    Nobody knows
    Yeah, nobody knows
    We’re all Barnsaleeeeey

Imagine that ringing out in Oakwell. Would sound amazing as our new chant and don’t think any other club has it.

It’s a brilliant song that I can’t believe has never been adapted or sung at any football ground. Easy and catchy with only one word changed at the end.

Could imagine it played just b4 kick off and also during a game with a crowd kicking in.

Been tough times the last 12m with not attending and ideal once we return.

Alexa play Oasis Stand By Me

I'd have to have a written song sheet.

I've trouble remembering the Skol Skol Skol song.

I’ve always thought that a rousing version of Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini echoing around the ground would be awe inspiring, it’s making the hairs on the back of neck stand up just thinking about.

How about this. Lyrics, from ‘Je t’aime’ in English

(refrain) I love you, I love you Like a madman, like a soldier As a movie star I love you, I love you As a wolf, as a king As a man who I am not You see, I love you like that

    Heavy breathing whilst singing.

Told you I love him more than lil and T67.

Myself too. It’s that advert that’s not made me able to get the song out of my head the past 2 weeks. Just think it could be a catchy terrace song.

Surely one of the most surreal refrains to a huge pop song- "you come and you go between my kidneys "

Iconic theme for the Chicago Red Bulls
I reckon it would sound amazing blaring out at T’well as they walk out

“We are the Barnsley football club,
We roam around from pub to pub,
To die of thirst we have no fear, As long as we’ve a drink of beer,,,,
    Etc etc....

    How about Tom Petty’s “I won’t back down “
Love the line “You can stand me up at the gates of hell, but I won’t back down”

I saw the Bulls at the United Center a couple of years ago. Had no idea what to expect as I'm not a basketball fan, but when this came on and the lights started going, it was immense.

Bettered only by the year before that when I saw the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field on a Sunday vs the Milwaukee Brewers. I had no idea it was their derby game. After the game I stumbled across a place called Wrigleyville and thanks to the Cubs winning, proceeded to have one of the best afternoon's/night's out of my life.

Say what you like about American sports, but nothing has ever come close to those matchday experiences for me.
