    RIP - Leeds have lost some great players over the last 12 months. Be an emotional day when they return to Elland Road remembering all the legends they have lost.

    Saw him score a wonder goal in 69|70s ?against Ipswich a top of the table clash at that time.Leeds we’re losing 2-1 with about ten seconds left,the long ball came over his shoulder and he executed a vicious volley over the Town keeper from the 18 yard line goal. Can still hear the ripple of the net now,one of many RIP Hotshot Lorimer

    Although never a Leeds Fan I went to Elland Road in 1967 to watch leeds V liverpool.My lasting memories of the game was Liverpool scoring 2 goals in the last 10 minutes through full back Chris Lawler to win after being a goal down.I also remember 2 shots from Peter Lorimer which totally poleaxed Ron Yeats and Tony Hately.For people who remember these 2 players they were absolute giants both well over 6" tall and frames to match but both taken down by "hot shot Lorimer ".
