We must sign DK. I’ve seen suggested fees ranging from £1.2m to $20m. I don’t care what it is, get him signed on a permanent. What performance today. Outstanding
Epitomises what it means to pull on the Red shirt. Brilliant young footballer with a fantastic attitude to the game.
I think you're deluded if you think he'll sign for us. In 25 years we've only broke the million quid mark on 2-3 occasions. There's no way well pay 2-3-4 million ..... It's not in our remit. And FFP aswell. What are they gonna do? Put season ticket money up? Not sign any more players? It's easy to say just sign him........ it's not that simple.
I think when you can see his clear potential, it gives us a chance because the owners will be confident they’ll earn their money back and then some. If we sign him for say £2M, we’d earn some very decent profit in my opinion.
Quality player hard to belive he is only 20 big future ahead of him but doubt he will sign for us permanently.
If like you say we could get him for that fee then there's far more clubs in a better position to gazumpt us. We can only spend so much due to FFP.
I don’t know the ins and outs of FFP but surely if we go up we can spend a bit of money? Particularly a few million on Dike. I get that there’s other teams that could come in for him but if we have a deal in place in his loan contract, then I guess it would come down to Dike’s choice.
Nah, break the bank and sign him ourselves. We're all about the profit and sell on, it's the sole reason we don't buy older players because they have no resale value. Well, if there's one thing I know, it's that Dike has got resale value!! (Disclaimer: unless he gets injured).
If we have a contractual right to buy him for a certain amount as part of the loan deal then we can't be gazumped. We might end up signing him only to sell him literally 10 minutes later though.
Dike is the type of player we've been in need of for years, but Orlando are just using us a shop window. He'll move on to the prem when his loans over for a sum we couldn't get anywhere near. Even if we went up I'm pretty sure there's bigger, established prem teams that he'd rather sign for. Unfortunate, but hey ho.
I’d be amazed if FFP is a factor in any of our dealings. I don’t think the club want to be anywhere near that level of losses. We won’t sign him because he’ll get a better offer elsewhere
