He is 18 and scored 20 goals in 15 games and made 4 assists for Manchester City u23 this season He was in the first team this season for a couple games and since then he has scored 11 goals in 6 games Is he worth at least a trial for us? Don't know what he is like in other areas of the field but his goal scoring ability has improved in half a season He is the son of Rory Delap incase anyone recognised the name
I think he'd have a few takers if he was available, he's a brilliant prospect and no doubt will make the step up to first team football.
A trial? I don’t think any championship club (or any club) will be giving him a trial. I imagine City will be looking to tie him to a long term contract if they haven’t already. We could potentially look to have him on loan next season, if we didn’t go up that is. Other than that, there is no chance city will let him go looking at his stats - unless you know something I don’t?
I don't know anything but just wondered what people's thoughts would be He has been in 1st team for Man City for a couple of games and his goal scoring ability has improved massively since, he doesn't seem to be a first team player yet for City so why not take him for a season on loan if we don't go up
Definitely would go along with this! We won't be getting Prem club players on loan, doesn't fit with the plan.
"he doesn't seem to be a first team slandered yet" We'd soon sort that out for him on this board. Dont forget, he's crap before he even kicks a ball for us.
