    Love this board. I’ve been using it 20 odd years, when it was still attached to official BFC sites, then seen it develop. That’s how we met & London Tykes became a real deal. & great friendships were made.
    I stopped looking at this board, when things got a bit nasty & argumentative. Brexit etc.
    I’ve been back on the last 6 months, even before the team got good. & find it a much happier place to be.I miss a few of the old members, but people like Red Helen, are new to me but wonderful contributors.
    I just think the board is great at present. I thank & congratulate the admin. Of course, it will get messy again, once we start losing. Aw f**k. We lost yesterday.

    It's always been a great place whatever the topic of conversation, only occasionally getting vaguely unpleasant. I echo your thanks to the admin team, thanks for giving us this wonderful place to meet up, particularly during the pandemic, it's kept me sane.

    Honestly I am sane, really gibber :confused::confused::confused:

    I can relate to this post, I too find it hard sometimes to fathom the venomous diatribe against other posters with a differing view, the Brexit threads were particularly nasty, I actually found myself replying to certain posts and then thinking why? So I made a decision to never get involved with anything political or religious on here again, football and our club are the only things that connect us all so let's just stick to footy and our team.

    Great post Mr C :) I echo the sentiments as well, and congratulate Gally and the Admin team.

    This place has really kept me going the last 12 months, so a big thank you to everyone else on here :)

    Big thanks to all on the BBS and admin from me n’all. During this difficult period. The humour quite frankly is second to none. Ranging from the odd chuckle to the downright hilarious. Can we have a lmto emoji. Cos I’ve been in that position 100s of times on this forum. The brilliant retorts and silliness is a joy. ( for me anyway)

    I've been a member of this Board since the very early days.

    I Love it.

    I read it every single day, I never miss.


    I don't post much these days despite being a hugely prolific poster in the past.

    Friday nights on the BBS with a bottle of. wine and the next day match were the best nights in ever!

    I'd be lost without this Board.

    The board is so interesting and varied my other half decided to join even though she's only ever been to one Barnsley game and knows next to nowt about football. I'm working on her though and she's learning but she's still refusing to have a Ronnie Glavin tatoo. :)
