    Hi all BBS’ers.

    Long time reader but not been able to get involved until now. Thanks to the admin for letting me in!

    I’m a Hoyland lad as you can probably tell from my username. Although maybe on the move in the next year or so, we shall see.

    first match was I think 1990 when my uncle started taking me, I was 8, we lost 1-0 to Oldham but I was buzzing because I saw a goal! Long time season ticket holder, get to some away games (in normal times of course!). Take my 8 year old boy so a slightly different match day experience these days but enjoy it just as much if not more.

    Here for the footy chat. Have my opinions on Brexit, Trump, Biden, pandemics, corrupt governments etc. but I often avoid reading those threads as they get a bit heated and this is downtime for me!

    Loving where we are at the minute minus the obvious frustration of not being able to go watch the lads. Seeing the improvements in the likes of Mads, Jordan etc has certainly helped me trust the process more. Confident of a play off place, love the gaffer, what’s not to like at the minute?!?

    Hi Hooky. I’m not as it goes. Never really had many ‘Hoyland Mates’ due to going to Tankersley nipper school and I didn’t actually live in Hoyland during my Kirk Balk years / early adulthood.

    My footy mates are from all over tarn (and beyond) as they are college buddies (along with other stragglers picked up on the way).

    We just missed each other nomad! I was born in 1981 and spent my first few years at Number 80 before moving around a bit, then buying my first place on the row of terraces just above your old place when I was 25. Looking for somewhere bigger now the boy is growing rapidly. Was only ever meant to be a batchelor pad while I was young free and single!
