    I used to have a pair as a young teenager. For my holidays in Spain. Wore em as swimming shorts in the mid 80s.

    It was Italia 90 that football fans in England really adopted the St Georges cross. Really up to then it was the 'Jack.

    Strange how one tournament changed the whole football culture regarding the flags you see now.
