Keep going mate. Only a few weeks to go then you can have a proper breather. Unless we make the playoffs, then you'll have to wait a bit longer....
We've been spoiled with a game every 3 days for the last 6 months,so that 2 weeks feels like an eternity. Players must be grateful for a minute though after that crazy schedule
Had we won at the weekend the players would be enjoying a hard earned break. After a defeat you just want to get back out there and sort it out. It's a shame we didn't have a match this week.
Players have earned a rest and I don't mind a international break because it means we aren't in league one anymore. I won't be watching England tonight. It would be awful playing one of the worst countries in world Football even if the ground was packed.
For context, the last time I had any length of time off (a genuine holiday), Daniel Stendel was Head Coach. I dream of sitting outside a lovely Italian restaurant, classical music playing, the sun shining, a cold beer in hand, delicious food on the way. I think that dream is at best, another 15 months away. Hoping to get to Cornwall or something for a week in June, all being well. But as we all know, making plans is rather futile these days.
I'll be watching tonight safe in the knowledge that BFC are safe from relegation and are actually in 5th place in the playoffs. Half full !
