    For anyone ar$ed about music. Hugely talented, new album out this week. Grew up in Barnsley. If you’re into your ambient/electronic music and hadn’t heard of her, you won’t be disappointed. She’s quite outstanding.

    While we’re on the subject of music. Can I recommend Billy Nomates. Super talented post punk artist. Done a really good song with Sleaford Mods and her album from last year is superb.

    Yeah good shout. Saw her at the Beakender thing that Geoff Barrow put on at Brudenell, just before COVID hit. Had a bit of a chat, really nice lass.

    She went to Kingstone 1993-1998 with me. Always very musically talented. Thoroughly nice person too.

    Tbh I had no idea until she did the Mary Casio thing. I’d seen Magnetic North a few times before then so I knew who she was. Just didn’t discover the Barnsley link until later.

    There's a movement that will only play a piece once to a live audience. A good friend of my ex is a practitioner of this style of composition.
