Priti Patel's expenses were published yesterday it's not been on the news yet but it's all over Twitter, £1,000 at Rachels cupcakes. £5,000 at Primart. £1,000 at Sports Direct. Polly Anna's restaurant 2 meals there for almost £4,000 each. £2,000 for a fitness consultant, And get this £70,000 on her eyebrows doing. Licence to spend our money.
I mean - I think Pritti Patel is probably the last person I'd envisage myself jumping onto a thread to defend... But as I understand it the expenses are for the Home Office department and not her personally and the eyebrows thing was actually purchasing PPE rather than her personally getting her eyebrows done. Sorry to ruin the fun.
I'm pleased my income tax has been spent wisely. Although the numbers being posted regarding her eyebrows are false (see what I did there).
30k was spent at Global Beauty Products that sell PPE in addition to beauty products but we have no idea which she bought. 77.2k was spent at Beautiful Brows. Beautiful Brows is owned by Global Beauty Products but there is no mention of them selling PPE.
Pritti Patel is an absolute cuunt of the highest order, whether these claims are legitimate or not. So yes, I'll have my fun.
Bet you feel so good now. Why is a Govt, dept spending £1000 on cupcakes? I was told recently that the dept wouldn’t spend £85 on a licence fee so that I could use an application to help do my job. Admittedly I was leaving in a month, but just the same, for the sake of £85 I could’ve done my job properly and help take pressure off my colleagues. Fekin stinks and pricks like you post Shiite like this
What was the £669 on cakes for? I suppose it would help to explain the £5400 at Primark & £890 at Sports Direct, followed by the £2k for a dietician?
The problem with this approach is that amplifying incorrect stories against people you don't like makes it harder to hold them to account if they do something genuinely wrong. It just fuels the general perception that information generally can't be trusted and makes it easier for them to cry 'fake news' and get away with it.
It’s a fair point mate, but it still begs questions why a govt dept would spend this money in the outlets mentioned. Until yesterday I worked for the DWP for 18 years, I can tell you this, if we had a sarnie delivered to the office it wasn’t paid for by the dept.
I once claimed back £2 for a cup of tea from a services on the way to an off site meeting in the 90s. Mortified I was
I agree with this actually. But I don't think there's a politiian I hate as much as her. So as much mud that goes her way the better, hopefully something sticks, and she lives the rest of her life in a dinghy, drifting back and forth across the Channel.
I can only envy you at being able to format a selection process that makes a hierarchy of hate towards any of this lousy rotten set of govt ministers, and indeed,, many of these current Tory MPs as the worst.
