    Just seen he's just made his 300th career appearance. ... and he's only 27. Could hit 500 if he stays fit and plays into his early mid 30s.

    Very admirable career up to now for the Barnsley born lad.

    Good lad. Always like to see local lads do well especially ones who come through our academy.

    It’s always worth remembering just how good you have to be to make a professional career out of football in this country given how few clubs there are in comparison to how many play the game.

    Do i remember it correctly, I forget who we played, but one of the opposition players properly going off at Rose and being a right c.nt with him, to the point where Rose was in tears. Stephen Dawson was like a bull dog in Rose's defence and it soon got sorted

    And yes - great career. Still remember a couple of brilliant goals he scored for our youth teams. Hopefully he's in his prime now and perhaps manages a couple of glory years in the championship

    That was in our FA Cup 3rd tie at home to Burnley, January 2013, and Jason Shackell was the culprit. Danny had the last laugh by scoring the only goal of the game.
