Hisense very good make. get a lot for your money. my brothers a techno journo says they are good price at moment but prices will go up. Relatively cheap at moment until they get more popular
Look on AV forums UK. Best value would be a 55 inch Hisense if you have the room. https://www.avforums.com/threads/new-my-best-value-tvs-2020-2021-edition.2325951/
I have 49” Sony 10 years old and a 49” Samsung 2 years old. Never had a a peep out of either. Both have great picture and features.
Have a think about how close you are going to sit and how big the telly will be. Basically there's a point where 4k/8k etc are useless because the level of detail at a certain distance is more than your eye can physically pick out. You buy tellies looking at them from 6 inch away where you can pick out the improvements but you don't watch them at that distance.
43” Hisense 4k £299 at Crampton and Moore, Ecclesfield on their website. Bought 3 TVs from them in the past (not all for me) and had no problems. Shop is at Ecclesfield, warehouse for pick up is at Birdwell end of the Dearne Valley Parkway
I have a 49 inch Sony smart tv and I have to leave the Ethernet unplugged as it turns itself on during the night. I went away for a few days once and when I came back home the TV was blaring away. Reading on the Sony community it’s a common fault.
Thanks for the comments, I meant 55” not 44” when I posted... Ended up going with the early recommendations so got an LG, I liked the look of the Sony too but we have Alexa in the house so made more sense to go with LG. Hopefully made a good choice! https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/tv-an...ogle-assistant-amazon-alexa-10207291-pdt.html
Main problem with LG TVs is that they no longer have ITV Hub/ All 4/ My 5 but if you have a PVR, Blu Ray player or game console you can watch through those.
