Have to arrest our mini slump - Lost against a bottom side draw against a top side so logically win against a mid table one. I think we will win this one 3-1 but not really that confident - we do need a win though

Didn't we beat Luton on Easter Monday 2005 at Kenilworth Road?

I seem to recall, they were top of league 1 and we turned them over 3-1.

If you're playing the two big lads down the middle, for me you need Frieser in there too. He links up very well with Brittain and helps us get balls into the box. You don't have that outlet with Woodrow, who constantly drops deep. Frieser tends to find space out wide, and helps us transition from midfield into attack. I'd say he's the only one of our strikers who's best position is that wide striker role.

Luton have 50 points so they are relaxed I think

He's grown on me lately runs his blood to water and does alot off the ball. Sometimes doesn't get into the positions to finish, like Friday mowatt played a pass to styles who kept the ball in play and put a cross across the 6 yard box but freiser hadn't gambled on it and was miles away and the ball was cleared for a corner. but
woodrow hasnt been at his best of late imo so either or for me.

For me its all about attitude and mental focus. We know what we can do physically and seems like the break has given the energy boost we need. However my thinking is mental focus is the difference between play off slot and not. We have seen a few mental switch offs recently, v Wednesday also the goal for Reading. If we are on it we will win Monday but we have to be focussed and play at our best, in fact same story for every game for the next 6 weeks

3-1 to the Reds, Morris, Dike and Mowatt. Although I expect a lot of $hithousery from them and trying to influence the referee

Nervous about this. Reading and Wednesday defended really well and played on the break.

Hopefully we’ll see a more open game being away from home and that we’re not reliant on humping the ball into their penalty area.

Barnsley reserves 1 Barnsley 1. If anything like my recent record of predictions , I will be way out and it will be an easy win for the first team .

I wondered if that would be the case. You're missing a couple of key players too I believe, so it could be a good time to play you.

If the lads want it then I see us getting at least three goals today hopefully all fully fit. Would like a clean sheet as well, hopefully all our mistakes given away against Reading. Now to pick up a good run to secure a play off spot.
