Fair comments - most would agree. He's got 14 goals and 9 assists (I think). He could end up with almost 30 goal involvements this year - which is pretty good imo. Nobody is saying he's Pele (although I probably rate him more than most), but this one bloke thinks he's Dave Regis Mk2.

A lot of this game has been like an attack vs defence training session. Been a good half from our point of view.

 

If I was a Luton fan, I’d be delighted that it’s only 1-0. Should be two or three, just hope the missed chances aren’t punished, and that Helik isn’t injured.

 

I have to disagree. His tackling and footwork are excellent. His distribution has been poor but so has everyone's today.

Commentary very enjoyable as usual. Goodison is very insightful and there’s good banter at times but I wish Matt would lose the innotation at the end of virtually everything he says. Maybe it’s just me but I find it annoying

 

I was going to say pretty much this. His ball in the final third hasn’t been great but, like you’ve said, nobody’s has been too great. I think the wind is playing havoc.

 

I love listening to Wayne Goodison. Not only insightful but a great dry sense of humour also.

 

I'm not knocking it at all, all I said was alot of poor passing from him in that half. Its not a vendetta at all I like him but i don't think his recent performances have been great.
The 1st half on Friday you was creaming over him when he wasn't great and got subbed.

 

Can't help but feel we need to thump someone by 3 or 4 goals to close the goal-difference gap as it might be crucial to deciding the playoff places. This is the sort of game we maybe should be doing it. Luton are an organized side, but being more or less safe from relegation and the chances of making up a 16 point deficit to the top 6 virtually impossible, they should be there for the taking.

And it's not like we have not had the chances. They couldn't complain if we went in at half-time 2 or 3 up...

 

I'm enjoying following the little green hexagon caused by the sun. Meanwhile, the players seem to be off to the side of my screen playing with the ball.
