Team carrying Palmer and Vic, not good enough at this minute in time

Agreed. I personally think he's a season off being brilliant.

For that reason I think he's one of our most exciting players. Assuming we don't go up a lot of the rest of the team might go, but Palmer won't because he's not ready yet - and I think he could be really really good next season. He doesn't always get it right, but you can clearly see that every now and again he plays brilliant balls looking for runs that aren't there. The optics are terrible, because it looks like he's wasting it, but the potential is great.

Agree, an early goal 2nd half and we can all let go of the Sphincter muscle. I do feel though no silly errors at the back and we’ll be ok

With all the interest and speculation surrounding him I’d be astounded if he was back in Orlando come the summer.

Will be interesting to see how it goes second half with the wind. Usually you'd expect playing against the wind to be harder but might play into our hands as perhaps more difficult to land those balls in behind which can sometimes be our undoing.

Bit frustrating how much we've kicked it straight through to their keeper in first half. Hopefully they do same in second.

Vic is much better off the bench, but to be fair to him, he brought the ball down for Woodrow in the lead up to the goal

I just wish we could show
If we could show just a bit more composure on the ball, we probably would tonk someone. Far too many stray passes and poor control for me

Although after Victor turned and shot well wide he did say, "You know I think he'll be disappointed with that." Sherlock Goodison!

Dike finish was just the same as Harry Kane yesterday. Lethal.

It makes all the difference in the world.

It's points points points now till season end.

I'm not gonna bleat anymore about the lack of subtlety we've passed that point of relevance.

Happy to be leading at half time with a pretty average performance though I think part of that is down to the way Luton have set up. We came more into the game as the half went on and hopefully we'll pull away more in the second half. Disappointed with how little Luton have offered but I'm not complaining. Some good individual performances though I can't understand why Palmer is being singled out - personally think it's his best performance for a few games and he played that great wee ball through to Brittain when he missed.

just need a bit more composure on the ball. We are controlling the game and would prefer us to keep it that way.

I never thought I’d ever be saying this because I was (and still am) a very big fan of Sollbauer but Sibbick has to be starting games ahead of him. We look so much stronger.
