Anyone watched The Money Heist - really good series on Netflix - if not get it watched - top stuff Anyhow the main song from that was Bella Ciao which is an italian folk song and thought it would make a great footy song. So first i thought do it for Dike but he might not be here by time we get to go so did a bfc version too. Anyhow - thoughts? Got through the first series and loved it, for some reason though kind of forgot about it after that. I remember the song though, great tune.
Its spanish series dubbed english but they did a great job of matching the voices to the characters so you don't even notice to be fair - watched them all and just waiting for the new series now. After Netflix took it on its gone global and got really popular. The tune is really catchy and would make a great song - plus the characters in the heist wear red
I watched all 36 episodes in a week in first lockdown. Season 5 was due to start weekend just gone but it's got delayed till August. I'm not usually into dubbed things but really enjoyed it
I didnt see it dubbed, but we watched it subtitled. I just checked and actually I watched season two as well. Gonna have to finish it cos I loved the characters, Nairobi and Berlin in particular.
Great series and would definitely recommend watching in Spanish with subtitles as opposed to the dubbed version. Could argue it perhaps loses its way after first couple series as well and may have been better as a one off. Also think that tune would making a cracking chant. Lyrics might need a bit of work though...
My ex was Spanish so I watched with subs - can’t stand dubbing anyway so much preferred it with the original audio. The series was initially intended as a limited series - the first two parts only. It was originally made for a Spanish tv network. Netflix acquired global streaming rights and cut the series into 22 shorter episodes before releasing them worldwide. Netflix then commissioned the additional series because of how popular the show was.
