Just to be clear, shavers not trimmers.

Don't think you can go far wrong with Phillips. Dad and Will both have had a few and never had any complaints. Can get some decent wet and dry ones around the £60 mark.

Boots are selling most half price at the minute and do cashback from various sites (Quidco, Topcashback etc.), plus if you have a Boots card you can collect extra points. They're always on sale everywhere of course as the rrp is daft but they do seem to be retailing at the lowest price there atm.

From personal experience, save more money and buy a more expensive one. I've tried loads over the years, but I've been disappointed with anything under about £100.

Philips all the way. Got three different models... one for a clean shave (rare as i have a beard), got a beard trimmer, and got one for the old downstairs.

I spent £300 on one for the other half and lad, they've used it a handful of times and have both said it's crap plus it needs a new head as it broke after little use. I then bought a cheap Max-T one from Amazon. Other half doesn't really use electric ones as he complains they 'rip him to bits' so he tends to 'proper' shave. He's used the Max-T one more than I've ever known him use one in 20 years, he sez it's really good. I suppose it all depends on your skin and hair but expensive isn't always the best

I've had quite a few over the years ...some good shaves from Braun and Remington but to be honest the three head Phillips take some beating, never needs new foils and last for years.

You must have some cash...one in the bathroom and one in the kitchen.

Well I went for a Philips & I have to say I couldn't more pleased/impressed, not as close as a razor but very near, brilliant.

    Philips 5000 series, marvellous.
