Worth trying as an opposition manager you would have thought.

How many teams have 6 defenders capable of championship level defending though?

Agree with this 100%. If we put the big guns on from the start and we don't break them down in the first 60 minutes, we are struggling for options. Our forwards will be tiring and we will have to swap them round to try and maintain the energy level. Mix and match for me. It has been working up till now, so I can't see any reason to change a winning combination. In Val we trust COYR

Agree with much of all that. I see it less a question of who are the best 3 strikers, more about what are the tactics and how do they change during the game, and what's the best way to deploy our forces at the right time to have most impact.

We are set up to play this way. Other clubs can’t be expected to set up to play against our style twice a season.

The real danger is when if we try this against better (fitter, smarter) defenders, and the press will be ineffective.
