    Grenade thrown in the OP and it's just kind of snowballed from there. Because the original point ended up being incorrect I don't think anyone knows what we're talking about anymore. Golf's half decent though.

    Golf is possibly the dullest sport going.

    A round takes 3 1/2 to 4 hours but with about 5 minutes of actual player activity.

    The rest is spent walking and looking at other participants dressed as clowns.

    I saw this act in a small tent here in Adelaide. I'd only gone because I thought that's him off Under the Moon. He really bombed. The power kept going off in the tent and the whole thing relied on his DJ rig. I couldn't work out if it was part of the act at first as he was whinging at various youngsters who were flapping around trying to get it sorted. After a while it became obvious he was having a mare and was genuinely losing it. There were about a dozen of us inside this tent. Proper awkward.

    During the Great BBS Thread Merging Scandal we learned that people who start new threads in response to an existing thread are gormless dolts who litter up the main page. Now, with the hindsight of the Great BBS Thread Deleting Scandal we learn that those same people are in fact savants with the tactical proclivity of Big Val, taking ownership of all in reply to them. It's all very confusing.

    Then, in another thread I 'liked' a post that was clearly a tongue in cheek comedy attack on another poster but a few follow up posts down I began to realise it was serious and I had to unlike it. Can we have an emoji people can use when they are serious but clearly unhinged so at least I know?

    Sounds like one of Brad Collins' games in goal..... Gets paid for 90 minutes to watch the other 21 players playing football in the opposite half of the pitch. Must feel like bringing a deckchair on somedays :)

    Happy birthdy son birthday cards from the 80s and 90s. Often included a racing car or someone sailing or a golfer.

    Sports i have never taken part in.
