This whole football snobbery is getting really silly. Most weeks we are criticised by opposing staff and supporters because of our style.

When we don’t have the ball it’s up to them to express themselves and show us how it’s done. Balls in their court, so to speak.

Sam Morsy was very good at BFC.

Most off us were gutted when he left.

He'd still be an asset in that CDM role.

When Wigan came to Oakwell he was sat in front off the back four with Joe Williams.

His Main strengths are tackling, aggression and breaking up play.

I'd certainly play him as a Aapo Halme type

Really? I always had Morsy’s strengths as breaking the lines, driving forward and creating.

Regardless, he doesn’t have the athleticism required to perform in our succesful side.

 

Morsy was a good player for us. I’m not going to start criticising him as a player but he comes off badly here.

But seriously just play through us. You’ve got 3 attackers on the bench signed for £25m, £15m & £7m. It’s embarrassing. Whining on twitter because a teams going long & been a bit physical.

With all that money spent you should be levels above us.

 

Nice summary of the issues of the last year or two there. Williams and Morsy being two players who we couldn't afford to keep who left and went to Wigan, paying Championship level wages, then everything that happened.

If I were a Boro fan I would be furious at them posting crap like that. Are they seriously blaming the opposition for playing in a way they couldn't overcome?
