In 10/11 we were strong at Home but awful away. In 11/12 Keith played a 4-6-0 formation. In 14/15 we'd just had a summer of upheavel after relegation In 15/16 we were on that 8 Game losing run. My point is, in the last decade they've always caught us at a Bad time. This should be our Best chance to break the hoodoo. Does it count if it's not in Coventry?
The 2014/15 they were there for the taking flying down the football league playing football in Northampton. We should have beat them we had the players more than capable. Lita and conor scored that night and they went down to league 2 that season.
I seem to remember JimBob scoring a spectacular goal for them that night. The Conor goal was his first for us, and a cracker. Very nice evening in the early season sunshine and some great music leading up to kick off - pulsating instrumental version of Led Zep’s Kashmir
We can, we've just been lulling them into a false sense of security until we reach a time when it really matters. That time is now and we're going to strike.
I'm afraid that Coventry got relegated to L2 in our season back in the Championship 2016/7, so we never even played them when they got relegated
I’ve been to the Ricoh twice, 06/07 season, we got arseholed 4-1 Dele Adebola ripped our defence to bits, Paul Reid couldn’t cope! Then 08/09 we drew 1-1 Tuesday evening, a win would have seen us safe, but Kozluk gave away a penalty in the past minute. Bogdanovich scored for us. Basically I’m glad it’s not the Ricoh arena this season!
Except the 2018/19 season in League One when they ended our unbeaten start to the campaign. We’d won 4 and drawn 3 of our first 7 games. They beat us 1-0.
98 years. So I'm going to hazard a guess that nobody on this forum can remember seeing us win there. Except @JLWBigLil
Sure I can remember us beating them 1-0 all game and conceded a penalty very late on to draw. doesn’t seem that long ago but probably is
Let's not forget Elliott Ward's last minute penalty too in 2009. Rob Kozluk was adjudged to have handled when the ball hit him in the stomach.
