    I saw 14 minutes of the August 2014 game at Northampton (enough time to see us go one nil down) when my Missus rang me to say she'd started going into labour and was going to the hospital. I'd arranged a "meeting" in Northampton with work the next morning to stay in a hotel after the match. So i got a taxi back to the station in Northampton, via the hotel to pick up my gear. Got to the station - no trains back to Manchester for the rest of the evening.

    Phoned all the local taxi firms and the cheapest price I could get was £200 back to Stockport. Booked that, straight to the hospital, £200 lighter, and when I got there we were politely informed that they'd be doing the section the next morning and I might as well go home for the evening.

    I hate Coventry away.

    Northampton is really, really difficult to get to on public transport. I had to go a couple of years ago and it was something like 4 trains and 3-4 hours to get there - and nearly £80 each way for the privilege. In the end I just drove in under 2 hours and stayed in a better hotel out of town.

    I want to see us go for goals on Sunday ,
