With Coventry playing Thursday did we think it would be nice and easy? I hope Val reads them the riot act though because that performance was nowhere near the required standard. Had 8 days to prepare for the game but we just never got going today. Fair play to Mark Robins and Coventry who fully deserved the win.

Be careful saying that on here about reading the riot act. A few think we need to remember they are just babies and need nurturing back to health

We seem to have changed our game plan, there was no real sign of the press today. We looked a bit ponderous and clueless

Very similar to the start of the season when the players knew Struber was chalking **** on it for New York. From today's shambles I wouldn't be shocked to see Val at Palace or West Brom very shortly

Coventry also play a direct style so you cant really press when they're knocking it back to front as soon as the defenders receive the ball. Ultimately Coventry did a job on us today and beat us at our own game. They were far superior.

Huddersfield and Rotherham next week. Two more teams like Coventry fighting to stay up. We need to improve and fast.

This season has been brilliant since Val arrived and I'm over the moon at where we're at in the league table but they're not beyond criticism. Huge game coming up Wednesday evening at Huddersfield.

They were great the first half but Woodrow should have scored on half time which would have changed the mood of the match.
We were the better team second half and Dike should have equalised but then they hit us on the counter.
It's fine lines at this stage of the season.

Wow, bit of a stretch to get to that conclusion imo. I thought Citeh were poor yesterday too. Is Pep up for the Palace job too? ;-)
