6 billion reasons for those big clubs not to give a toss about what Uefa, Fifa and local FAs say. Bayern, Dortmund, Ajax, PSG, Monaco, Lyon the Milan clubs will follow and local leagues will lose loads of sponsorship. Franchise football without financial fair play.

I was always set against it but now I think let em go but they don't get to play in domestic competition. Will make the domestic leagues and cups more enjoyable again.

Can’t see it happening. UEFA were due to announce changes to the Champions League, Europa League, etc, which most of the big clubs didn’t agree with. Coincidentally they’re now talking about this ‘super’ league, surely just to scare UEFA.

How is the league deemed super when it involves 9th placed Arsenal?

Says six English clubs but only mentions Liverpool, Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea. There's still a chance for us and Grimsby to make up the numbers.

Bayern have said no way, hats off to them trying to hold up principles.

Shame Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona only care about money.

Let them go. Fifa and UEFA should come down hard on them mind. Any player that joins forces should be banned from playing in world cups and European championships.

The game at the top level is really embarrassing now.

**** the "Big" 6 off at the end of the season, and promote the Championship to 6.

Let them break away and watch them slowly shrivel and die when the billionaire owners realize that without promotion/relegation, the majority of matches in the second half of the season will be dead rubbers, and the fan interest will be almost non-existent(and with the lack of fan interest comes ever-decreasing viewership levels, lower sponsorships and lower gate receipts).

Then when they come back cap in hand, tell them they have to start from the basement of the non-league pyramid.

    tl;dr

    **** em off!

It wil be the death of those clubs. No other competitions, no international games for its players. How long will it's fanbase enjoy watching them play the same few clubs week in week out hundreds of miles from home? How long will neutral fans last before they're bored of the same games every week?

The idiot clubs who have signed up will be gone within a decade of they pursue it and everyone blanks them
