J Williams worries me at LWB but we’re woeful in midfield at present. Palmer is way off the pace and there’s no sign of Kane coming back so what you suggest I’d be inclined to give a go....

Can’t see Styles playing in the middle. In which case, I’d put Halme in the middle, Vic up top for either Woodrow or Frieser, and go full on hoof.

It’s going to be a very similar situation on wednesday, playing a team that know that one win will virtually secure safety, we need to match them for intensity and be livelier on the second balls than we were yesterday.

Time to start with the WMDs as we need to try and put yesterday behind us as quickly as possible. I don't mind Jordan Williams starting against his hometown club and he would hopefully be more eager to make most of a rare start than Chaplin was yesterday.

Article in the Chronicle suggesting that Morris is over the groin problem that he's been managing. If that's the case he should definitely be starting. Not too fussed who starts with him, Morris, Woodrow and Frieser put in a very good performance in the second half at Bournemouth. Morris, Dike and Chaplin dominated Brentford.

    why play with ten men
I just do not see what Frieser brings to this team
All have different opinions but mine is that he is no way championship class
We were beat by a team on Sunday by a team who were fighting for survival and did a job on us
All our team will be hurting and i would expect them to come out all guns blazing against Huddersfield
Where does Morris fit in this team selection

If he's fit I'd certainly be starting Morris. I think he'd make a very good foil for Woodrow. We've got to find a way of utilising this lad rather than running him into the ground with the minimum sniffs of goal and replacing him after 50-60 minutes.

How many games has Styles played in the middle of the park this season?

He probably needs a rest as does Palmer

    Williams for Styles

    Halme or Kane for Palmer.

Woodrow's best game for a long time was at Luton, with Adeboyejo and Dike alongside him. I think ideally you'd want two out of Dike, Adeboyejo and Morris playing, with one of the other three. It also allowed Woodrow to drop a bit deeper, which he'd become used to under Struber.

If fit, he's the first name on the team sheet. Too many times recently, the half time change has been inevitable from the point that the team was announced.

I'd use Dike as a sub for fresh legs. He's not a target man and the press is broken with him in it. I'd try and form the partnership between Morris and Woodrow as thats likely what we'll have next season, though i do wonder if Woodrow has just had enough. Two coaches in a row either not rating him or asking him to be something that he isn't.

I wouldn’t have any issue with leaving Dike on the bench, to try and cause damage later in the game. Not sure id say Woodrow has had enough. His body language after the Brentford game last year was very subdued, where he’s been a lot more part of the celebrations after wins this season.

Wouldn't expect anybody to look happy being subbed, especially after a performance like yesterday.

He's trotted off several times and been fine. But Middlesbrough and yesterday his reaction was very different.

He’s probably his own biggest critic
He should have scored and didn’t play well.

I may be missing something that a lot of you say on here, that is about Palmer.
I watch every game and quite honestly I do not understand the hype from some about him. After the usual 60 or so minutes he gets subbed. For most of that time I didn't even know he was playing.
I can also say that about Woodrow, and Chaplin, and occasionally Styles.
Without me sounding stupid can someone please tell me what Palmer actually does. Some players do stand out, you notice them, but I fail in that respect with Palmer.
Sorry lad but I'm not a fan yet.

    I'd probably go;

    Collins
    Sibbick
    Helik
    Andersen
    Brittain
    Mowatt
    Halme
    Styles
    Woodrow
    Morris
    Adeboyejo

Go full on hoof. Constant. Compete more for the balls than we did yesterday, when we just made life a bit easy for them. If that doesn't work, hoof it more. Tell Halme to just put his head or his foot through it every time. Under no circumstances is he to try and control the ball. Bring Dike on either at half time, or on the hour, depending on how it's going.

Ismael to bring his usual half time rollicking forward 45 minutes or so.
