Because there was a foul about 14 minutes before (that the referee gave them an advantage for). I've seen a couple of replays of our goal, and I'm still unable to fathom when a foul occurred that led to the goal to be honest.
Didn't they moan about a foul throw in the return fixture that wasn't a foul throw. If they defended abit better and not let it bounce it wouldnt have been a goal.
They were equally as bitter when we beat them 2-1 at Oakwell. Spent the last dozen years working in Huddersfield and I dislike them (almost) as much as Wednesday. Imagine still getting parachute payments and being in the bottom 6
Genuinely don't think of them as a prem club. Always had them slightly lower than us ( think that 7 1might have something to do with it!)
I agree with them. It’s blatant disregard for a fair competition to allow Daryl Dike on a Championship Football pitch.
Fake news imo ... couldn't be arsed to read all 25 pages on their match day thread, but in the last 6 pages only saw respectful comments. There is the odd comment about our limited talent and being more than the sum of our parts, but you'll find that on here. There are more disrespectful comments about them in this one page than I saw on theirs. Just saying ..
There not a premiership club and at the minute are slightly lower than us, similar size club to us attendeces boosted over the past 4 or 5 years by cheap season tickets and top flight football
I thought Huddersfield looked quite tidy on the ball and there was much less play acting than usual. We did less of it too. But they created very very little. Only save I can recall was fairly late on, a snap shot straight at Collins. Aside from a header back from Andersen that was a bit dicey I can't recall any real threat from them. On the flipside, we could have had 4 or 5 with better finishing and a bit more luck. I really don't think I'd be complaining if I were in their position.
