Just look at the number of goals they are scoring too. They enter the playoffs in very very good form and for me they have to be clear favourites to go up. If Swansea or Brentford can have the pleasure of having to dispose of them first, thats fine by me.
If we make it into the Play Offs, I don't fear any of the other three clubs and would have great confidence in our team going toe to toe with any of them.
As long as we don’t have to play Barnsley, I’m not bothered. I’m kacking meself, just thinking about that..
At the moment you'd probably rather avoid Bournemouth, but they could still lose their next 3 games and you might change your mind
Any which way you look at it, to get to the Premiership we’ll have to beat two very good teams. The table doesn’t lie.
The play offs are done Kev mate, just a matter of who finishes where. It’s so tight between the four sides that literally anyone can win it. But if it were me, I’d want to avoid Bournemouth who are in some form at the moment. Brentford were poor against us this week and look to be stuttering. And a bit of local-ish info for you regards Swansea - their fans are far from confident. Not a happy bunch at all - hate the manager, style of play etc. Don’t think the tea lady escapes criticism tbh Ayews’ injury is a major concern for them, he’s far and away their best player. Without him they’re pretty ordinary tbh. They also think Hourihane is a complete waste of a jersey, “worst midfielder ever” I read. Strange, always seemed a cracking player to me?
My biggest concern isn’t who we’d play, it’s the fact that there’s a bit of a break between the Norwich game and the first leg. Rest doesn’t seem to do us good for some bizarre reason
I started this season with fairly low expectations and I thought as most of us did that mid table would have been a stretch for us. Vi has astonished and delighted me to get us to this position. I don’t care who we get in the playoffs because I believe that we can win it. Looking forward to Oakwell south again.
Conor's a brilliant player, Jeff, old mate. I'd have him back here in a heartbeat. None of us thought we'd be anywhere near the Play Offs at the beginning of the campaign. For us to be where we are is wonderful. Due to that, I don't feel any pressure with the situation and certainly have no fear of who our opponents may be.
A team playing with nothing to lose can be very dangerous indeed. The other teams are expected to get promoted, pressures on
Don’t think many would have fancied you for the play offs mate, myself included. That said, I was impressed with you last season and you’ve clearly improved - despite not being as good against us this year for whatever reason! Mad You’ve got the right attitude Kev, no point in fearing anyone. The favourites certainly don’t always win it. It’s all about who turns up on the day. You’ve earned your place, all about making it count.
Overused phrase, but this is absolutely a free hit for us. Seriously nothing to lose. What a season it's been after the lows of last year. Whoever it may be, give 'em a game and who knows.....
