It changes year by year but taking Norwich as an example, in 2019/20, they received £95m from the premier league. This was made up of £31.8m equal share distribution (all clubs in that year got the same), facility fee of £11.8m, merit payment (linked to finishing position) of £1.8m, overseas broadcasting revenue of £44.6m and commercial revenue of £5m. So that is the TV money with a small element linked to league position. This excludes all other revenue such as matchday and commercial. Norwich also got parachute payments of £42.6m this year. They would have received £35m next year and a further £16m the following year. So broadly get promoted, finish bottom and pocket £190m.
