Anyone else get it. It blurs the picture for a few seconds then comes back. It happens quite a few times during a game. It used to happen when I used to watch via the SkyGo app. I watch via NowTv and this past weeks or so it’s started again. I was told it was probably Sky scrambling the signal to interrupt the illegal streaming, but if that’s the case, surely it shouldn’t affect the ‘Official’ Apps

Is this not just buffering due to streaming via the internet? Or am I mistaking your question?

It keeps to real time, the picture briefly becomes sort of blurred a few times.

That's just a drop in connection speed/bandwidth, the quality will revert to a lower resolution as it requires less data to make it through. Try resetting your router.

Sounds preferable to the iFollow camerawork. Who in their right mind switches to a replay while the ball is in play?

Just sounds like buffering. I used to get it on the fire stick when I was trying to watch the Barnsley games.

But talking of strange experiences, does anyone else get a six digit number popping up on the screen while watching iFollow? It appears in the centre of the screen, then jumps to each of the four corners in turn, then goes back to the centre, then disappears. Onscreen for about ten seconds. Does it about five or six times per game - not every game, but quite a few of them. It's always the same number too.

It's not "bad tech" or anything they're doing... it's your connection dropping/slowing and it lowers the quality to compensate. The alternative is it pausing.

NOW TV app is absolutely crap. Terrible picture quality, blurring all the time like you say. It's nowt to do with Internet connection. BT sport app picture is perfect on my telly.

I use the App on my Smart tv, to be fair it’s only started doing it this last week or so. It used to be fairly regular on on the SkyGo app. I’ll reset the router next time. Thanks for the replies
