The fans are tested before and then again a few days after attendance. If they are spread out too far away from each other then then test result figures aren't accurate enough to show if there has been an increase in the spread of Covid-19 or not.

I didn"t say that attending the cricket caused the surge currently in India, what I was suggesting is that mass gatherings of fans might not be the wisest move until we know we are out of the wood , they thought they were on top of it in India & in hindsight I do not think they would have allowed the fans back if they had known what was coming .

It wrecks my head that there isn't a massive campaign for full houses to start from now. SAGE scientists coming out of the woodwork to say that outdoor transmission is not a big issue, what the f.ck are we waiting for?

Crackers we still are not allowed full capacity stadiums when a quarter of our most vulnerable are fully vaccinated.

For me, just leave the return until next season.

I honestly believe the fact that we have had no fans in the stadium has helped this team progress so quickly. When you don't have the pressure of fans screaming at players the minute they make a bad pass. It has allowed the team to play with a little freedom from that perspective. I'd hate to upset the apple cart now.

I’ll tell you what. You lock yourself and your family in your house, carry on living your life in fear and getting poor people to deliver you the stuff you need to survive to your door, and me and my family will start again going out and living like normal human beings and experiencing social interaction, fun and love. And we’ll agree to leave each other to it.

    Agreed?

I do not lock myself in my house & I do not have stuff delivered to my house & I have social interaction, I follow the rules & I will continue to take the advice & paths we are asked to follow, but while ever there are selfish people willing to put others at risk then this objective of getting back to normality will take longer, but hey you & your family go on not giving a toss about anyone , have your fun & don"t give a monkey"s about anyone else . thats the way forward !

India has no relevance to how we approach our own exiting of lockdown and the cricket attendance hasn’t forced the situation they’re seeing now. Hygiene, vaccines, access to healthcare, living conditions, etc. make it like comparing chalk and cheese.

The last two weeks have been the best two weeks of the year and not once I have experienced a situation that was unsafe. You could put 40,000 fans in Wembley and that experience would be safe as well.

Surely we should be rewarding those who chose to invest their money in to the club at a time when seeing any football wasn’t guaranteed? There’s no way the order for access should be any different to any other game.

Even more so when you think about how many supporters were saying ‘Not giving these owners another penny’ but now interestingly are saying ‘only 75% of tickets should be available to season ticket holders’.

Having a season ticket doesn’t make you a better fan than someone who doesn’t have one. Everyone has their own personal reasons and situations. But to suggest season ticket holders don’t go first? I just don’t see how that could be argued as fair when you consider what that financial support likely meant for the season we’ve just seen.

I think those who paid up for a season they couldn't watch and have already renewed for next season should be first refusal. I can't lie that I would be annoyed if purchasing for this season doesn't get priority.

I think you mean that as a simulation for a bigger crowd, they need to be sat closer together than they would have been if, for the test event, they'd spread them around the ground. I've read what you've put half a dozen times, can't quite figure out if that's what you mean. I agree tho'.

Then be annoyed, next season's purchase should have no influence on this season's lottery. (I've also got one for this year and renewed).
