Felt sorry for Rotherham fans tonight - they have nothing up front.
The way Brentford played tonight, I have no fears playing them in the play-offs.
Not particularly worried about Bournemouth either: the 4-0 home defeat was under Struber when we were trying to defend our way to victory, will be different under VI. As regards Swansea, we've lost to them twice in the league, I can say "Remember Millenium Stadium 2007" !
Who knows ? Very happy and relaxed to be where we are

The 4-0 Home defeat in December was under Valerien......

and the Millennium Stadium Victory against Swansea was 2006......

I was thinking this last night @JLWBigLil

Since Big Val took over we are top 3 (I think)

We have absolutely nothing or no one to fear. If we are going to get win the play offs, we are going to have to beat the two other best teams, so bring them on.

I thought I smelled a whiff of defeatism about Paul Warne after our game and I noticed it again last night. It can be pervasive and picked up on by the players. I was no big fan of Struber’s but he was always positive last season and kept the self belief going to the very end.

Did you see the reactions of Struber after Wigan at home then Leeds away ?
    He looked distraught .

I’m sure he was but he never gave the impression that the whole world and his dog was against us. Not that I noticed anyway, but I guess it’s all about perceptions.

He didn't, but we never had a player sent off for a clash of heads, the appeal against it turned down, then have a goal given against us like the one we scored.

That’s different from a whiff of defeatism imo.
There’s no difference in Strubers reactions to Warnes imo .
Think the Brentford win had clouded your views of Strubers reactions to the defeats by Wigan and Leeds tbh .

Let’s hope they can turn things around and prove me wrong. If anything is clouding my views then it’s the twelve months and all that’s happened since. When I’ve got a mo I’ll see if I can dig out the post match interview for the Leeds game and refresh my memory

You are, of course, entirely correct in this, thank you. Must admit I do like Saltaire Unity Pale Ale - and I'll still have no worries if we have to play Bournemouth even when its effect has worn off ! :D

    Indeed.

They have had many narrow defeats, but defeats nonetheless.
