Reminds me of the night England were about to play Croatia in the World Cup Semi - Final. Look North went to a primary school and they were trying to give their support and they sang "they're coming home, they're coming home England's coming home". Me and my Dad looked at each other and said "that doesn't bode well".
We still the underdogs choose how many wants us to win . Think we should go with the ultimate underdog song imo .
Whatever happens I think we can go into with the least baggage or pressure of expectation to go up. The other clubs have either just missed out recently or are reliant on getting up to continue their current spending levels. We have done it the right way and can go in and enjoy it knowing full well the pressure is all on the opposition.
The other three need it for differing reasons but mostly financial, we want it. Big difference when it comes to pressure
I always want us to win, that aside I won’t be upset for long if we bow out in either the semi final or the final, at the beginning of the season if I’d been offered going into the last two matches of the season safe from relegation I’d have taken it, mid table mediocrity even better. If we do get to the premier league though, it will be fun laughing at the opposition fans who have probably paid £40 - £60 per game equivalent compared to our £15 or so.
On that note.does anyone know if a price cap still applies fo away fans in the premier. Can't find owt.
