I don't know who that guy is but did he really have to speak to a journalist like that? I bet he wouldn't talk like that to her face. I've seen a lot worse, but still... And people wonder why social media is being boycotted.
I'm sure she's not just made it up, it will have come from somewhere. Doesn't excuse people being rude to her.
Orlando City have never said anything, Barnsley FC have said its nowhere near. I don't know why she keeps going on about it everytime there's a statement/report about Dike.
Not that it makes much difference, but he’s replying to somebody else, not the journalist. In the US, aren’t players rights held by the MLS and not the club? So, the fee would’ve been agreed with the league and not the club? I could be wrong, or the regulations may have changed, but all the contradictions from either side make the deal seem really odd.
Ah, I see that now. Looked like he was being rude to her. As you say, still not great. No idea re inner workings of contracts. Journalists do have sources though so just because Orlando haven't publicly said anything @Gordon Owen doesn't mean someone from there hasn't said anything to her off the record. It wasn't the point I was making in this thread anyway.
