... and I was very pleasantly surprised at the price - only £280 for potentially Premier League football. I knew there was a discount for renewing but I had been misreading the chart and was expecting mid three hundreds. It's been so long since we've been allowed in that I completely forgot that I no longer sit in the East Upper as that's where I always sat on pay on the day years ago. Come on you Reds!!!!
When I renewed it cost me just £195. A brilliant price for (as you say) potentially premier league football. But a constant reminder of the aeons that have elapsed since I was born
You forgot where you sit? That's old age creeping on is that. Also if you expected mid 300s you're welcome to send the excess to me. I'll buy a dozen multimeters
I thought there would have been a newsbot article on here today reminding everyone that the early bird pricing finishes today and urging everybody to renew before the deadline. Bit of a missed opportunity, maybe the club have just been too busy selling season tickets all day!
Or they might be happy with number sold and hope more sell after deadline at a higher cost. Renewed mine today though
This is true. I'd imagine, for example,if we were to comfortably win the first leg of the play off semi final there would be a surge in sales at the higher prices
The club has looked after the fans, and the fans have looked after the club in its darkest times, in this pandemic. It’s a beautiful thing. COYR
So it's taken you this long to think about renewing, instead of doing it and ago like most have and you last it on here as it you are a super hero?????? There are thousands who have renewed, despite where we might be playing next year. Bravo for you. Good knows the club will be desperate for your money. Or you could just keep it to yourself, like thousands of others have done instead of shouting 'look at me, I've saved loads of money!!!!' Some fans pay up year upon year despite what division are are in....
What a strange, angry post. I posted to praise the club and have a laugh about the fact I'd forgotten where my seat is. I don't care what division we are in, the first time I got a season ticket (read: could afford one) was when we were bottom of the table in League One at Christmas and I was probably the only idiot who got a half-season ticket that year. I have then paid up year upon year despite what division we are in, hence why this was a 'saving' due to being a renewal. I'm a bit disappointed in this post to be honest. I remember spending quite a while chatting to you on the one BBS meet-up I went on and thinking how friendly you were. Either you've changed or my memory really has gone downhill.
