It depends which one you’re on, there’s a certain type (forgive me, I can’t recall the name of them) which is neutralised more, some give a better response.
Hadn't even considered this, just asked my lad and he said of course I can go on my own. Really want to be able to share the Wembley experience with him though.
I know, people who stay at home looking after themselves with no thought or care of what anyone else is going through, and vilifying anyone who actually cares about other people and society. It's sickening isn't it.
Had Covid and now fully vaccinated, so 100% yes. Outdoor events carry little risk anyway so I'd have theoretically considered it even if I hadn't been jabbed if distancing measures had been in place. Now I wouldn't think twice about attending, even if a capacity crowd was allowed. Roll on August, whatever division we're in.
I get vaccinated on Sunday (yay!!). But I don't think it would be fair to , on Monday, go and sit next to someone who hasn't been vaccinated and, possibly pass the virus on to them. That being said if someone who hasn't been vaccinated is daft enough to go to an event where there's no social distancing then there's an element of more fool them. Given that my next football attendance is likely to be a game in Ireland then there should be plenty of opportunity for social distancing anyway.
why wouldn’t I go? The vaccination has diminished the chances of me getting it or being hospitalised by it to a negligible sum & in terms of risk of infecting others, 1) risk is extremely low in that setting and 2) they will have made an informed decision to take that risk and go, which is personal choice, and fine.
I've had the virus, and I've had my first vaccine - I hope that puts me at minimal risk of getting it again (any time soon, though I read conflicting things about whether you can catch the same strain twice), and you can't pass onto others what you don't have yourself. I'll go to the game. Bring it on.
I voted no (shock horror) but I don't get how people are selfish for voting yes here? Not at all. The question isn't asking if you're planning on breaking the rules and all pile into Oakwell to watch the game, it's asking if you'd go to the game with no restrictions if rules allowed. I assume the point of the question is trying to determine whether a lax in restrictions would lead to quiet stadiums anyway, due to people not wanting to risk it. I imagine a few months and maybe even weeks ago the answer would have been a heavy no, but as more and more people are having the vaccine I don't see a problem with people being willing to go to a full stadium again.
Given that it's mainly shouting and singing that makes it more transmissible, I'd pack my scarf for the East Stand Upper, where there is a certified safe level of just barely audible grumbling
**** me I’ve had likes off Redstone and Tyketical Masterstroke on a covid related post. Maybe I need a snickers. Just need SuperTyke, Jay and Loko and I might have to check myself into A&E. Something is clearly not right.
