Thats just rubbish , the left are saying the same thing about the right and neither are right . Labour has always had these contingents and one is first to blame the other when things go wrong As I said in another thread once Murdochs done with the Tory’s that’s when we’ll have change . Say what you like but even Blair had to court him and that’s what’s wrong with our democracy not one contingents willingness to blame the other That’s just easy and and lazy on both sides.
If we had PR I'd vote Green in a heartbeat, but as it is it's a completely wasted vote. They didn't even field a candidate in my constituency in 2017. The current electoral system is not fit for purpose, and therein lies many of the problems that are facing the country today.
No just a Labour voter who can see facts when Labour goes left it loses when it's has a leader who drags it to the centre it wins.
Totally agree but unfortunately the two main party’s won’t give up their monopolies. The referendum we had on a form of PR was conducted on the back of the party that proposed. Referendum (Lib dems) being unpopular for going into a one sided coalition and any proposal from them no matter how sensible would have been trashed . The electorate can punish the Lib Dem’s for going into coalition with a hated Tory but can themselves vote them in . Crazy
I know you keep ignoring the fact that Blair licked Murdochs arse but it’s true and that’s why he got in nowt to do with policies . Well maybe to murdoch )
Therein lies the problem, ‘The Centre’ has been dragged further and further to the right leaving old Centrist Labour looking more like Wolfie Smith than John Smith.
You clearly parroted Mandelson. Who is a proper creep of a bloke. You need to move on from New Labour. Any Labour leader would have won in 1997. The Tories were cooked. The whole sleaze thing. Not a coincidence that Mandelson and Blair’s puppet, Starmer is going for that angle again. Sleaze. It isn’t 1997. Hence last night’s kicking. And voters blaming Keir. But Corbyn.
Did I miss something did dear old jezza win a general election and I just imagined he LOST 2. Doesn't matter who said it first the fact remains LLLLTBTBTBLLLL. But let's just carry on with this left wing ******** and keep Bojo the clown in office for as long as he wants to be there.
What so it's not true that in the last 11 elections labour only won the 3 in which TB was leader and I just imagined Thatcher Major Cameron May and Bojo being PM well thats ok then I'll get ready for my shift down Barnsley Main oops no I won't because what I quoted as fact is indeed a fact
Where is this left wing you keep on about ??? Starners the leader theres no far left agenda there’s no communist revolt . What policies are there to make you keep harping on about the left ? There’s no agenda no threatened left wing takeover I just don’t know where you’re getting this left wing conspiracy. It’s in your mind imo . Labours lost so it’s the fault of the left even though there’s no far left leaning people in the shadow cabinet , If you want to blame someone blame yourself and likeminded for listening to murdoch .
Clutching at the thinnest of straws the Tories did badly in Waverley my part of Surrey winning just 2 of the 9 seats for grabs in the council elections with the other 7 going to either the Farnham Residents or Lib Dem’s. Come the next election though Jeremy **** will win by a large majority
You believe that when it’s soooo obvious it’s Murdoch who calls the shots . Even Blair could see that but you can’t mmmm.
Really? I’ve genuinely never heard anyone in person say that Labour care more about Palestine than places in the UK. I’ve heard plenty say they’re too focused on London & students & foreigners in the UK. If the centre is the way to go how do you explain Brown & Milliband & then a 3 million increase in votes to Corbyn in 2017? Then how do you explain Hartlepool going Tory? The Tories have only increased their vote share by a couple of thousand. It’s Labour voters who have simply refused to vote presumably as they don’t like the direction the parties going in.
Wow. Labour have lost a seat on the Wirral. That’s far more worrying than any in the North East. They’ve lost 24.3% of their vote share since the last election. It’s not gone Tory, it’s gone to the Greens but if that doesn’t send a message about Starmer I don’t know what does. If you’re Labour & can’t hold seats in the Liverpool area there’s something deeply wrong.
The Tories and the Brexit Party got 22,000 votes last time. I think it’s fair to say supporters of both/all parties refused to come out and vote in Hartlepool.
