Godfather where Michael takes out the heads of the other five families against the backdrop of the christening
I watched the first 20 minutes of the first GodFather film and gave up. Tried again recently, i made it about 2 minutes further. yet my mum raves about the trilogy, just can't get into it.
Lynne Ramsay’s magnificent debut feature. No spoilers here, but recommended to anyone who likes stuff like Kes. Rachel Portman’s score is superb. But they always are..
I've not seen any of GF2. A stickler for watching things in order. Numerous people have told me I'm missing out but I just can't get into it.
Got them in pretty much every format - including special edition set where they cut up 1 and 2 and put them in chronological order.
I had a phase early lockdown where I recorded just about every film that was on and watch them at night before I drifted off to sleep. I was surprised how many I just couldn't get into, and even how many films I thought I'd enjoyed at the time now being absolute pants. Couldn't get into Scarface at all. Cape Fear I thought I'd enjoyed and was disappointed. Yet I found myself enjoying the Intern and Devil Wears Prada.... ah well!
Love gangster type films but can't get into Scarface - think it's Al Pacinos accent that puts me off . Did love Cape Fear - De Niro is one of my favourite actors
