https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/swansea-city-newport-county-fans-20569528 Good news.
Still doesn't say how many Swansea fans can be allowed though. Our home game is in 6 days time and we're still waiting for the final confirmation
It doesn't matter how many Swansea fans are allowed in. That would be like saying Old Trafford can only have a capacity the size of the opposition each week.
Good news for us? Not quite sure as we have been playing pretty well at empty away grounds. Wouldnt want to upset our rythms.
I'm very superstitious, too much at times. There's been a number of occasions this season, when I haven't been able to follow my usual match day routine following the game on Twitter and blamed that for the loss.
interesting innit. I genuinely believe we have benefitted from empty grounds. but I'm also desperate to get back, and if I'm lucky enough to be drawn for a ticket, next Monday is probably the only chance I get to see this group of players at Oakwell.
Thats interesting as thats a lower percentage than we are planning -I think their ground holds 21K so less than the theoretical maximum of 23K at Oakwell and only 14% of capacity - bit cautious Should mean we can go ahead with our plans to allow up to 4.5K in
As opposed to one more chance to see them at Oakwell South - as its looking like the champions league final is going to portugal fortunately
Strange analogy mate tbh. I know some teams have a "bigger capacity" than others, thanks. The only thing the article says is that Swansea is they are allowed fans as a pilot event. Just making sure that we're going to be allowed our "capacity" that's all
I'm sure that the amount of fans originally proposed was based on concourse size and not stadium capacity. The club spent thousands of man/women hours coming up with the original proposal based on capacity and had to then rip it up at the last minute.
