I am not a st holder been reading this post,if i am reading this post right,sm is a season ticket holder,so he his entitled to enter the ballot wich he seems to have done.IDont understand is anger am i missing something. Also dont understand the original post because what makes him think they wouldnt go
Cunning stunt - yes we will sell all 4500, unless the ballot turns out numbers in bubbles which mean the maximum number is slightly under that of course. As they’ve said, if a lot of single and double seats are sold there will be less as a maximum due to the social distancing element required. S.M - no, the comms haven’t been ****. It is perfectly clear how you apply, that you can only do it once and that there is a maximum of six per bubble. If you are part of someone’s network, and they have applied for tickets including you but haven’t told you, that is not the fault of the club in any way, shape or form. Your anger is at best misplaced, and at worst downright fuxking ridiculous. Albeit quite comical. You have had the same chance as every other season ticket holder. You have had the same communication as every other season ticket holder. But you want another chance because you couldn’t get yourself organised. Yes it’s a quick turnaround - but what would you have them do? The game is on Monday and it’s going to be a logistical nightmare, on which I suspect they will lose money.
What are you talking about? You are part of a group who are entered into the ballot. You seem to be saying that you want to be removed from the ballot so that you can enter the ballot
Without wishing to poke a hornet's nest... Scenario: I'm a season ticket holder. In my account I have the details of all people for whom I've previously bought tickets (In my case quite a lot as I got the tickets when we went to Wembley). I make an application for 6 tickets, myself and 5 people for whom I've previously bought tickets. One of those is no longer a season ticket holder. Would the application be blocked?
I haven't checked, but I assume it will only let you add season ticket holders into your group. That's how I'd expect it to work. Seems like the new groups are separate to the existing connections on the account, so having someone in your network doesn't mean anything unless you specifically add them to your group.
But all season ticket holders have already had the chance to enter the ballot. The only way non-season ticket holders would be able to attend is if not enough season ticket holders apply, surely? Not sure what you want the club to do. If in a hypothetical scenario you didn't get chosen but a non-season ticket holder got to attend following a second round of ballots, all that means is that your group didn't enter properly. Not sure how that's the club's fault.
You can. You can withdraw an application at any time during the ballot, change the names on your list, then re-apply. I've just done it, to remove someone on my list who doesn't have photo ID.
Yeah but if they do...even though they won’t...but if it does happen...even though it’s not going to....but if by chance it does...though it clearly states it won’t...but if it does then I’ll be seriously annoyed and they can shove their tickets...even though they’re clearly not going to...
Jay, you can only add people to the application who have had a season ticket for this season (i.e. 20/21 season). Add the people you require that match this criteria and send
It sounds like SM doesn't have clue who has entered him into the ballot or if they've done it correctly and that's why he's panicking. The thing is, it's really not that difficult to organise and not sure what you're expecting the club to do in such short timescales and with government guidance etc. Firstly, I would suggest you communicate with those on your network and ask whoever entered the application to send you the confirmation email for your reassurance. Or alternatively ask them to withdraw the application and you re-submit a new application this morning. Non season tickets holders have no chance of getting a ticket (of which I am one) and fully accept the club's position. Looking forward to watching the match on TV and good luck to those who enter .
No ...... Just the Don! The reason for my original post (ps I didn't expect the tread I've just caught up on this morning, Christ!) was due to the number of ST holders I've spoken to in the last few days who aren't even applying. Fans who've committed to 21-22 STs but who would rather watch on TV. I've missed maybe a dozen home games in 35ish seasons. But I'm not applying. 3-4 of my mates with similar attendances aren't either. So I was just thinking if every ST holder knows a similar amount of non appliers then the 4500 might be difficult to achieve. I hope it does like and there's a waiting list. Factor in folks work pattern, the fact its on Sky, the free kids STs etc. Fingers crossed though for a 'full' Well.
Sweet Jesus,Mary, and Joseph and the wee donkey can we just move this thing along before it drives us all round the bloody bend? What a thread.
