    Ajax have melted down this years Eredivisie trophy and turned it into these small stars to give to each of their season ticket holders.

    My mate signed me up for a star and now I’m unable to sign myself up for one.

    If a non-season ticket holder gets a star before I get both of mine, I’m going to riot.

    Seen someone yes.

    But they are season tickets holders in there, and so less to do a ballot on. So quicker.

    Or are you suggesting normal ST holders should be balloted into the exec boxes........

    They have 41,000 season ticket holders.
    That Trophy doesn't look big enough to accommodate 41,000 stars so they might be melting down one of the European Cups that they won.

    Presumably they can add metal to it so there's enough without having to melt any more trophies!!

    The video made it look like they were solid gold stars cast from the trophy. If they got a star that was only 1% trophy, would that satisfy them? It would me but judging by some on here, not all fans would be happy.:)

    Actually , as a historian I think I'd rather the club keep the cup for their trophy cabinet but that they'd make commemorative medals/badges for the season ticket holders. Lovely idea, really shows they think of the fans.

    Same here. If we did it this season I’d be disappointed if we did this I think. As nice as it would be for fans, we’ve only won so much in our history and I’d love us to get the trophy cabinet fleshed out.
