I think I am being misunderstood - I was responding to Jay saying that groups of 6 was bad advice - clearly there is a mix and some singles fill up spaces so we need some singles and 2's and threes etc - maybe spacing is the wrong word - Dont get me wrong I am not saying any that applied singly did anything wrong - just that if everyone did that the number allowed in is reduced - I know everyone didnt - as it so happened I was in a group of 12 which fit nicely into 2 x 6 but it would have made no sense to all apply individually
One of the key issues with gov guidance here is that a standard stadium seat is 450mm - its the same with modern arenas etc. Setting the limit at 500mm guarantees wasted space and, for the most part, will result in 2 seat gaps. This is a fairly standard design feature and conforms to numerous standards, so I can only think the gov want 2 seat gaps, but don't want the flack for it...
So; no then So you put yourself through continuous torture for a year for nothing. And it’s everyone else’s fault. good work. Keep it up
https://ourworldindata.org/covid-vaccinations We have gave a jab to a bigger percentage of the population than USA. They are living life as you should with 73,000 indoors last weekend watching the Boxing which was a indoor attendance record. We are waiting until next week to sit in the home of a relative or mate and cannot have a full attendance at our outdoor stadium. The party responsible for this after last Thursday are now stronger than they already were. What a world we live in.
Absolutely - you crack on wrecking your own mental health, and the rest of us will all crack on making the best of an unjust world.
I think there is more chance some of our fans will take the knee in the stands in solidarity with the players, rather than boo.
Sorry to hear that mate and gutted for anyone else in the same boat. We’ll sing extra loud for you all. Fingers crossed you all get Wembley tickets. COYR.
our group of 3 missed out, , no probs with it being a ballot. I'd be interested to know how it was done though and what the chances of getting a tickets were: my brain can't work it out!
If it’s any consolation, the system pulled out names randomly until all the seats were allocated, and your chances were exactly the same as every other season ticket holder. Somewhere in the order of 4500 tickets and around 7800 entered, so around 57% chance.
You know if, God forbid, on Monday, every road between where you live, in Donny, and Barnsley, is blocked by, for example, fallen trees. Please can I have your ticket? And do you think they would let me in with my smoking hot chainsaw?
